The MT Series V power Team consists of the toughest, most durable and widely used drive train components in North America to ensure years of trouble free service. A Cummins 4BT3.9 diesel engine, Dana 60 axles, Eaton 33 hydrostatic and Twin Disc clutch, form an unbeatable combination. Dana axles combined are rated at 11,800 lbs. and have automatic limited slip differentials which free the operator of engaging and disengaging a manual differential lock. As for the engine, the name Cummins says it all. Others may come and go, wear out in a few years or simply not be powerful enough to do the job when faced with extreme conditions. The Trackless MT, after 35 years, has proven itself to stand the test of time getting the job done when nothing else could. On average, customers do not trade in their Trackless for 15 years and even then the only reason to do so is to take advantage of advancements in technology which have allowed us to offer a wider range of attachments. Today, hundreds of municipalities profess they could not be without their fleet of Trackless.
The MT V cab was carefully designed to increase productivity by making the operator as safe and comfortable as possible. The spacious interior, fully adjustable deluxe seat, carefully placed controls, tilt steering, AM/FM radio and excellent visibility all contribute to a comfortable, easy to operate tractor. The MT V certified ROPS cab meets SAE J1040-C specifications. Rear View
Cab This picture, from the operator's viewpoint, shows how well he/she can see the gauges and controls a well as the attachment. The front mounted attachments turn with the cab and, due to the MT's articulated steering, it is very easy to guide the implement around obstructions. Thinking Ahead Every MT V has the switch, wiring, coupler and water hose installed to save installation time if a water tank is purchased at a later date. Hydraulic hoses and fittings are installed throughout the cab in case you wish to add the optional second set of high output hydraulic couplers. An additional auxiliary switch, fuse and wiring with a jack in the cab and at the rear is ready for you to add any auxiliary electrical item you wish. Extra amperage you may require was taken into consideration when we chose to make the 61 amp alternator standard equipment. ![]() |
